Study

哭 is one of my favorite characters, as it’s so visual. To me, it looks very clearly like a crying face, but what’s interesting is that it contains the 口 and 犬 radicals. The two 口 radicals indicate an extreme action made by the mouth, similar to the howling of dogs 犬.
