Study
才 can be used with small numbers to show that it is ‘only’ or ‘just’.
Use the sentence pattern:
才 + Number + [Measure Word] + Noun
For example,
你才十八岁？ You’re only 18?
才 can also be used with a verb.
才 + Verb + Number + Measure Word + Noun
他才来了六个月。 He has only been here for 6 months.
