Use this tool to add tone marks to pinyin or to convert tone number (e.g. hao3) to tone marks.

Although you can use the red buttons to add tone marks, we highly recommend you use the number method (e.g. hao3) for speed and placement of the accent above the correct vowel. [Hint: Type "v" for "ü"]
Note: You do not need to use this tool to enter pinyin in this dictionary.

前面 – ahead/in front

– to ask/invite

– to go

– to warm up/hot (weather)

– person

Study

You can use the verb 去 to say that you’re going somewhere. The pattern is quite simple, as you don’t need to add a word for ‘to’.

去 + place

For example:

我去超市。 I’m going to the supermarket.

You can also use it with a verb: 去 + verb.

For example:

他去游泳。 He is going swimming
